Celebrating Creativity – Fashion Xpression 2022

One programme that Fashion students, enthusiasts and the University community mark on their calendar of events is the week-long Fashion Expression programme which is climaxed with a fashion show.

This year’s Fashion Expression week was no different as it lived up to its billing with students showcasing impressive original designs. Among the designs were casual attire, vogue and work clothes as well as attire to be worn by formal and informal workers.

Four students from Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) will have their dreams come true as they are set to embark on a life-changing exchange programme in the United States of America. The exchange programme dubbed “Community College Initiative (CCI)” offers opportunity for brilliant students to study for a year in selected Colleges in the USA.

KsTU Signs MoU with Design Technology Institute to Boost TVET

Kumasi Technical University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Design and Technology Institute (DTI), a world-class Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institute in Ghana to help churn out top-notch professionals in the TVET space.

The MoU is meant to implement the Precision Quality (PQ) training towards excellence in measurements, standards, and specifications among learners in the TVET space. The MoU aims to ensure that KsTU students gain relevant industry skills and adhere to global industry standards.

A former Interim Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) Prof. Asiamah Yeboah, has donated books worth over GHS 19,000 to the Institution at a short ceremony in the University. Prof. Asiamah served as the Interim Vice-Chancellor between 2017 and January 2019.
