Lecturers from Kumasi Technical University Featured Among the Top 1,000 Scientist in Ghana

Kumasi Technical University has been ranked among the highest tertiary institutions in Ghana by the Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index 2022 Version 2. Additionally, more than 17 Scientists from the University appeared among the top 1,000 scientists featured this year.

The AD Scientific Index 2022 Version 2 named Ing. Dr.  Edem Bensah (Senior Lecturer) and Head of Department of Chemical Engineering in Kumasi Technical University as the Best Scientist in the University and placed 320 out of the 1000 academics featured in Ghana.

The Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) has inaugurated two Faculty Advisory Boards for the Banking and Finance as well as Fashion Design and Textiles Studies departments to provide valuable guidance and advisory support to their students and the faculty to advance the vision of the University.

The AVIC Engineering Workshop was officially launched on the 12th April, 2022 at the Adako Jachie campus of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) by Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister of Education. The Workshop consists of sections including automotive and other Mechanical Engineering sections which is divided into welding and fabrication units.

The government has built an advanced engineering workshop at Kumasi Technical University's (KsTU) Adako Jachie campus. The facility will promote and enhance teaching and learning of technical and vocational education in the Technical University. It is part of the government's programme to enhance the retooling of Technical Institutions for them to be able to produce the needed technicians and technologists for the country’s development.
