Ghana Immigration Service Interacts with International Students of KsTU

The Ghana Immigration Service, Ashanti Regional Command, has paid a courtesy call on Kumasi Technical University on a sensitization visit to our International Students to discuss issues related to their stay and security.

Officers from the Public Relations Unit of the GIS, Ashanti Command, took the opportunity to educate the students on how to acquire Resident and Student permit, Non-Citizen Card, Functions of the Services and related immigration issues.

Kumasi Technical University gives furniture to Cluster of Schools

Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) donated classroom furniture to some selected Schools in the Ashanti Region on Saturday, 28th January 2022. The furniture comprised a set of 322 tables and chairs built with a combination of solid wood and metal. The support was provided under the kind auspices of the Management of the University to help address some infrastructure problems facing the schools.

The beneficiary schools are Sakafia Islamic Senior High School, Asokore Mampong, and Juaben Anglican JHS situated at Juaben.

The 18th Congregation of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) was held on 21st December 2022 at the New Great Hall of the University with a total number of 1,567 students who completed their programmes in the 2020/2021 academic year. The programme categories were Master of Technology (MTech), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Professional Diploma, Ordinary Diploma, and the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) Diploma programmes.

Kumasi, Ghana – December 13, 2022 – The Design & Technology Institute (DTI) has upgraded the Kumasi Technical University’s Automotive and Agricultural Mechanization Engineering department’s automotive workshop. It was upgraded at a cost of GHC 325,000 (Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis only). The workshop has been equipped with state-of-the-art tools to help improve the delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Ghana.

Millionaires Book Club Grants Scholarships To Promising Engineering Students.

The Christian Millionaires Book Club, a UK-based organisation has awarded educational scholarships to seven promising but needy students from Kumasi Technical University for the 2022/2023 academic year to support their education.

The beneficiaries are students offering civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering programmes.

Tuition fees, accommodation, and other educational expenses of the beneficiaries will be paid for by the organization.

KsTU Partners with GhIE to induct artisans into Ghana Institute of Engineering

The Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) has officially inducted artisans under its Professionalisation of Artisans Project (ProfArts), which aims at professionalising artisans by providing them with the required training, certification, equip them with tools and finally, promote them so that their services will be readily accessible.

The induction which was held at the Great Hall of Kumasi Technical University marks the official and legal acceptance of beneficiaries of craftsmen into the Ghana Institute of Engineering.
