Brief Bio: 

Dr. George Asumadu holds a PhD in Economics from Moscow State Academy of Instrument-Making and Informatics and double MBA in Finance/Accounting from American International University Illinois, Chicago and Management from School of Business within the Moscow Friendship University respectively. He has an extensive exposure, having worked in UN Mission in Kosovo as Finance Officer and as an Advisor in Financial Management at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, Kabul on World Bank Projects.

On the local scene, he was a Compliance Consultant for Ghana AIDS Commission in Brong Ahafo Region and once a Financial Controller at Buiwater International before entering academia. He is immediate past Deputy Director of the School of Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation and Head of Graduate Division at the Kumasi Polytechnic. His research interests are economic analysis, financial management as well as small and medium enterprises development.
