Entry Requirements:

1. SSSCE Applicants: Applicants must have at least Grade D or better in three (3) core subjects including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science/ Social Studies. Again, applicant must have at least Grade D in any three (3) elective subjects.
2. WASSCE Applicants must have Grade D7 or better in three (3) core subjects including English Language, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science/ Social Studies. Again, applicants must have Grade C6 or better in any three (3) elective subjects.
3. GCE “O” and “A” Level Applicants must have passes in two ‘A’ Level (2) subjects (at least one of the passes should be grade D or better). In addition, the applicant must have had credit (Grade 6) in five (5) GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics, and a Science subject.
4. Intermediate Fashion/Advance Fashion/Teachers Cert ‘A’ Applicants: Applicant must have grade six (6) or better in three (3) GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies. and Applicant must have three (3) credits in SSSCE/WASSCE including Core English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies.
5. Technical School Applicants (Certificate II Intermediate Fashion) Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science Plus any three trade courses.
6. Mature Applicants: Must be 25 years old with legitimate documentary proof which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application, must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by KsTU, may have to attend and pass an interview. Evidence of working experience will be an added advantage.
7. Foreign Applicants: Academic records of foreign applicants will be referred to GTEC for the determination of qualification equivalence and eligibility for admission as well as placement
