KsTU: VIVA VOCE at the Graduate School

The Graduate School of Kumasi Technical University, on Thursday, 25th August 2022, organised a viva-voce at the MTech lecture hall. The candidate, Mr. Eric Opoku Asamoah, was examined on his thesis topic: Dividend Policy and the Performance of Selected Listed Companies: The Case of Ghana Stock Exchange.

The examiners were Dr. Richard Kodzo Avuglah, a senior lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science, KNUST and Dr. George Asumadu a senior lecturer and the Examination Officer of the Graduate School, KsTU.

The Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Mrs Patricia Owusu-Darko and Prof. Roland S. Kabange, the Vice Dean of the Graduate School, presided over the event.

The purpose of the research was to show positive relationships between return on assets, dividend policy, and growth in sales and other sectors of the economy in which case studies in this area have not received much attention in Ghana.  .

After the presentation and the subsequent questions and answers session, Mr. Asamoah was passed. He then expressed his gratitude, first to God, then his family, his supervisor, Dr. Sulemana Mahawiya, Dr. Michael Ofosu Ofori, the Head of Department of Statistical Sciences as well as other faculty staff and students for their immense support. Dr. Bismark Parker, the Programmes Coordinator and Ms.Dinah Appiah-Krofah both from the Graduate School were some other members present at the event.
