1. Toxicology

a. Food toxicology

  • Calcium carbide treatment of cavendish banana: consumers and producers perception studies, biochemical

  • Assessment of the health risk due to consumption of bentonite clay

  • Microbial and chemical contamination of coconut fruit packed in polyethene bags sold in some selected

  • towns in Ghana

  • Use of Sudan IV dyes in food production

  • Bleaching agents in cosmetics in Ghana

  • Use of salt petre in food production in Ghana

  • Occurrence of emerging pollutants

  • Phytoremediation of emerging contaminants using phytoplankton

  • Ecological modelling of the fate of emerging pollutant in the environment

2. Nutraceuticals

  • Physico-chemical properties studies of some selected plants gum exudates in Ghana
