Kumasi Technical University further Enhances Professional Standards of its Administrators

A two-day training workshop on capacity building has been organised for the non-teaching members of Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) with the theme: “Coming together, Keeping together and Working together for the success of the Institution.” The skills-enhancing training was specifically made for the Senior Members in administration as well as the Senior Staff. The essence of the workshop was to ensure that the administrators of the University make a difference and serve with excellence.

Opening the workshop, the Vice-Chancellor of KsTU, Nana Ing. Prof. Osei-Wusu Achiaw reiterated that good delivery of teaching and sound learning environment are premised on a solid administrative base. Therefore, continuous professional development of administrators is very high on the agenda of Kumasi Technical University. He said, it is only under such condition that the mandate of the University which is teaching, learning and offering community service could fester.

On his part, the Registrar of the University Mr. Ebenezer Kofi Boakye charged the administrators to take the training seriously in order to reap the envisaged benefits. The training which was attended by about 120 participants was very insightful and highly interactive under the facilitation of Mrs. Jennifer Agyemang, an expert in Customer Care and Service Delivery.
