Bachelor of Technology in Marketing (Regular/Weekend) Top-up

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

SSSCE Applicants Passes (A-D) in Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies) plus three (3) Elective Subjects in Accounting, Business Management, Business Maths and Principles of Costing, Economics, Government, Geography, Elective Mathematics.
WASSCE Applicants Passes (A1-C6) in Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies) plus a minimum of (C6) in three (3) Elective Subjects in Accounting, Business Management, Business Maths and Principles of Costing, Economics, Government, Geography, Elective Mathematics.
GBCE Applicants Credit Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects
Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE): Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) Candidates with Full Diploma Certificate in ABCE. Also, the applicant must have had credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Business Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE) or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) or West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). ABCE candidates may be considered for admission at level 200 of a degree programme
GCE “O” and “A” Level Five (5) credits including English Language, Mathematics and three (3) other subjects in GCE ‘O’ Level as well as three (3) GCE 'A' Level passes.
HND and Diploma Applicants
1. Applicants with HND in Marketing (Minimum Second-Class Lower) will be admitted to start from level 300.
2. Applicants with Two-Year Diploma in related programme with Minimum of Second-Class Lower will be admitted into second year (Level 200) of the programme
Mature Applicants Must be 25 years old with legitimate documentary proof which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application, must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by KsTU, may have to attend and pass an interview. Evidence of working experience will be an added advantage
Foreign Applicants Academic records of foreign applicants will be referred to GTEC for the determination of qualification equivalence and eligibility for admission as well as placement.
